Love and Hate

To be or not to be, that is the question. Or is it? Today, in our 2nd Annual New Years Edition, we will tackle the true question, one that plagues every individual in every country on every continent within every planet. The question... <Drum Roll> what are love and hate? Well, I guess that is really two questions. Let's take a look at what could possibly answer these questions, or prove that they are one and the same question. To start with, let's look at our words. Love and hate are both four-letter words. They both end in E and have one other vowel. Have also ends with E, and it has another vowel. To have is to hold, another 4-letter word, and we cherish what we hold. But if we let go of what we hold, we are left with a hole, which is another 4-letter word that ends in E and has another vowel. Holes can be very useful. We can put all sorts of things in a hole, such as a sister or a doll. But these are not 4 letter words ending in E, and therefore cannot help us at all. We can also put a tree in a hole, and a tree ends with E, is a 4-letter word, and has one other vowel. Trees are good because they provide us with wood for a pole. A pole can be useful because it can make a great landing spot for a dove.

A dove brings a message of fate, another four-letter word ending with E and having one other vowel. Fate is good because it holds no cave for most of us. We can find jade in a cave, and jade is the perfect gift for a date. A date will be stolen by a mole. Since mole is a four letter word that ends with E and has another vowel, and no one knows what a mole is good for (excepting that you are one of the very few people in the world who have too many dates), the answer to our question or questions must be this: love and hate must be a mole. I hope that this has been a very enlightening selection to your evening. If you have any more questions, please forward them to :
