Introduction

For those of you who are new to this publication (All of you, I believe), I think a brief explanation is in order. Here at PGPE we strive not only to bring you the news, but to show you how it relates to you in a practical manner. Hence this section. In every issue this page will take a look at one or more topics discussed earlier in the issue and attempt to derive some all-encompassing lesson that should be learned. We hope you enjoy all the amazing insights the coming weeks will bring.

Cows--Wonderful Animals

It seems as though an ongoing theme in this issue is the cow. And why not? The cow is a wonderful animal. It's big and fat and white. Sometimes. And we need them to get milk. Well, actually, we need the females to get milk, and the males to get more females to get more milk. Of course to make that milk any good, you need chocolate, which cows don't make. I guess they shouldn't be blamed, since nothing's perfect.

Don't get me wrong, though. I really do like cows. Just look at all the other things you can do with them:

  • Look at them.
  • Chop them up and eat them.
  • Use them as bait for aliens.
  • Tip them over.
  • Paint big yellow smily faces on them.
  • Tape pink bunny ears to their heads and play jazz to them on a boom box. (This is a great way to get strange looks from passers-by. Make sure to bring a camera.)
So there you have it. Six other uses for the common cow. Have a great time with your newfound cow-knowledge and make sure to read the next issue in which the PGPE will teach you how to make five million dollars without leaving your home!
